Sustainable Rosewood

Amazonian Rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora)

A very valuable and endangered Amazonian tree, Rosewood Oil (Aniba Roseadora), aside from the high value timber, has traditionally been used for its skin healing and regenerative properties. Rosewood is highly prized by fine perfume and cosmetics industries.

Rosewood is a vulnerable species which our partner Essential Oils Peru is actively working to bring back in abundance. EOP only uses branches and leaves rather than cutting down trees and has planted over 3000. Rosewood extraction is under strict supervision and certification of the Peruvian Ministry of Forests and CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), with which EOP works in concert.

 

Products

We provide EOP's Sustainable Rosewood Essential Oil in a 10ml format and use it for its skin regenerating benefits as a signature ingredient in both our Arbor Mundi Youth Fountain Rejuvenating Serum and forthcoming Rejuvenate 100% Essential Oil Blend. We are also working on being able to provide it as a bulk wholesale ingredient.
